King Class - 5TD
Working in Thunberg class are
Mrs Tawney (Monday-Wednesday) and Mr Powell (Thursday-Friday).
Working in King Class is
Mr Devereux
Mr Absie , Mrs Towler and Mrs Harris work in both classes.
PE
PE will be on Tuesday. It is essential that children come in the correct PE uniform on those days.
For PE, children have to wear
· Black or grey jogging bottoms or shorts
· A white t-shirt
· A school jumper
· Black trainers or daps
Both classes are swimming on a Wednesday, for the whole of Year 5.
Reading
In Year 5, it is essential for your child to have their book bag in school every day. This year we are not sending home Reading Record books, but please do read at home with your child. They benefit hugely from it! Ask them to retell what they have read or ask them some questions while you read together.
Homework
All children have access to a range of websites with log in details. Please ask your teacher if you are unsure of these. The children should have access to Mathletics, Times Table Rockstar and My Maths. Please use these regularly. During the longer holidays we will also send home some work packs for the children.
