Working in Thunberg class are
Mrs Tawney (Monday-Wednesday) and Mr Powell (Thursday-Friday).
Working in King Class is
Mr Devereux
Mr Absie , Mrs Towler , Mrs Harris and Miss Aleeza work in both classes.
PE
PE will be on Wednesdays and every other Friday. It is essential that children come in the correct PE uniform on those days.
For PE, children have to wear
· Black or grey jogging bottoms or shorts
· A white t-shirt
· A school jumper
· Black trainers or daps
Both classes are swimming on a Wednesday, for the whole of Year 5.
Reading
In Year 5, it is essential for your child to have their book bag in school every day and that you sign the reading journal to show they have read at home. We hope this will make a great impact on the children’s reading.
Homework
All children have access to a range of websites with log in details. These were stuck into their Reading Record books, please ask your teacher if you are unsure of these. The children should have access to Mathletics, Times Table Rockstar and My Maths. Please use these regularly. We have also begun to send home worksheets in a pink homework book. Please make sure your child is completing this each week as it will help them in their learning.
