PE

PE will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays. It is essential that children come in the correct PE uniform on those days.

For PE, children have to wear

· Black or grey jogging bottoms or shorts

· A white t-shirt

· A school jumper

· Black trainers or daps

Reading

In Year 2 it is essential for your child to have their book bag in school every day and that you sign the reading journal to show they have read at home. CHildren should be reading at home 5 times a week and some children will be using decodable books to work on fluency.  We hope this will make a great impact on the children’s reading.

Homework

Children have paper homework given out each week, we will start using mymaths later in the year. Logins will be available in the childrens reading records and advise on how to log in will be sent out once we start setting homework on mymaths.
